Product Manager

Sits between users, business and engineering to decide what gets built and why.

About the work

Product managers own the direction of a product: researching users, defining problems worth solving, prioritising work and holding the team to an outcome rather than a feature list.

A day in the life

Morning user interviews, midday prioritisation with engineering and design, afternoon reviewing usage data and writing the next brief.

How people get in

Any graduate degree, ideally with business or technology exposure, followed by an associate PM or business analyst role.
